- James Schmillen: If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not use this place. This is a scam. I was an American and travelled to Germany for this experience. They sold me a 6 lap package with a private instructor. Despite having the expert advice of my private instructor, and waiting 4 hours in line, I was only able to race 2 laps. When we returned, I wanted to only pay for 2 laps and the front desk ignored me before helping other customers. After it was dark, the private instructor and the front desk told me I had to "compromise" and pay them for 4 laps (even though I only raced 2 laps). They refused to charge me any less than 4 laps. I left and told them I was not willing to pay for any more than 2 laps and that I would be disputing the charge with my credit card company. They let me leave and when I received my bill, they charged me for 6 laps. When disputing this with the credit card company they blatantly lied and said they had no idea why I was not able to get 6 laps in. These people are scam artists and look to take advantage of foreigners. Do not use this company, there are other honorable companies to use in Germany. This is not one of them. Or, if you must use them, pay for only 2 laps and then pay for additional laps as you go. The locals were doing this and it seems the best way to avoid being scammed.
- Matthew McDonald: Dealing with the staff at Rent a Race Car was easy and they made the whole journey easy. I booked an instructor for my four lap package in the VW Scirocco on the first day there and Michael was very easy going and a fountain of knowledge. On the second day Theo took me out in the Porche 911 turbo which was an amazing lap even compared to the BMW M5 ring taxi I rode in the year before. I'll be returning on all my future visits, they have a convenient location right at the ring entry and you get to deal with the owners Theo and his lovely wife Heidi.
- Wayne Hutchison: Service is somewhat in need off a full revamp but driving there hire race car on the track was great fun .but expensive it is
- Paul Alford: My friend and I rented a car for a lap each. The insurance on our own car was so high that it was worth the price to just rent a track car instead. Very professional company with a building right next to the Nordschleife entrance. I'd definitely go again, but the prices have risen quite a bit since my trip!
- J.D. Myers: Can't say enough about how accommodating these folks were. We came to ride in the M5 Taxi and split 6 laps. We came early to get a feel for how things run at the track, but with the weather deteriorating, they got us into the taxi as soon as they could and then allowed us to reschedule our 6 laps. I've not rented with anyone else at the track, but at this point, I have no reason to try anyone else!

- Brian Krieg: I highly recommend considering the Hotel Parc Fermé near the Nürburgring if you're staying in the area. I visited the 'Ring from the States as part of my first visit to Germany. The whole experience from renting the race car to the hotel stay was fantastic. Communication was excellent. My questions and requests about car rental via email were responded to by the end of the next day. All of the staff have excellent English and were very friendly. The hotel was just renovated so the furniture, etc. were new, modern and well laid out. Breakfast buffet food was fresher and of higher quality compared to the hotel buffet breakfast buffet food I'm used to in the USA. Great overall value. The car I rented from them (a Clio Trophy Sport) was easy (for me, a novice track driver) drive hard for 4 laps around the 'Ring. Braking ability did not diminish and the semi-slick tires gave great grip.
